1. *	سورة الاعلى بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ سبح اسم ربك الاعلى	swr+ ala`li bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? sbH asm rbk ala`li	Praise/glorify your Lord's name the highest/mightiest.	Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.	Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,

2. *	الذي خلق فسوى	alXy Klq fswi	Who created, so He straightened.	He creates and shapes.	Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion;

3. *	والذي قدر فهدى	walXy qdr fhdi	And who predestined/evaluated, so He guided.	He designs and guides.	Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance;

4. *	والذي اخرج المرعى	walXy aKrj almr`i	And who brought out/made (to) emerge the pasture.	He produces the pasture.	And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture,

5. *	فجعله غثاء احوى	fj`lh Gxa' aHwi	So He made/created it rotten/spoiled (thin and dry) green/red with blackness.	Then turns it into light hay.	And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble.

6. *	سنقرئك فلا تنسى	snqrYk fla tnsi	We will make you read, so do not forget.	We will recite to you; do not forget.	By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget,

7. *	الا ماشاء الله انه يعلم الجهر ومايخفى	ala ma$a' allh anh y`lm aljhr wmayKfi	Except what God willed/wanted/intended, that He truly knows the declared/publicized and what hides.	Everything is in accordance with GOD's will; He knows what is declared, and what is hidden.	Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden.

8. *	ونيسرك لليسرى	wnysrk llysri	And We ease you to the ease/prosperity.	We will direct you to the easiest path.	And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path).

9. *	فذكر ان نفعت الذكرى	fXkr an nf`t alXkri	So remind if the remembrance/reminder benefited.	Therefore, you shall remind; perhaps the reminder will benefit.	Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer).

10. *	سيذكر من يخشى	syXkr mn yK$i	Who fears will remember/praise/glorify.	The reverent will take heed.	The admonition will be received by those who fear ((Allah)):

11. *	ويتجنبها الاشقى	wytjnbha ala$qi	And the most miserable/unhappy avoids/distances himself from it.	The wicked will avoid it.	But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones,

12. *	الذي يصلى النار الكبرى	alXy ySli alnar alkbri	Who roasts/suffers the fire, the greatest.	Consequently, he will suffer the great Hellfire.	Who will enter the Great Fire,

13. *	ثم لايموت فيها ولايحيى	xm laymwt fyha wlayHyi	Then he does not die in it and nor live.	Wherein he never dies, nor stays alive.	In which they will then neither die nor live.

14. *	قد افلح من تزكى	qd aflH mn tzki	Who purified/corrected had succeeded/won.	Successful indeed is the one who redeems his soul.	But those will prosper who purify themselves,

15. *	وذكر اسم ربه فصلى	wXkr asm rbh fSli	And mentioned/remembered his Lord's name, so he prayed.	By remembering the name of his Lord and observing the contact prayers (Salat).	And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer.

16. *	بل تؤثرون الحياة الدنيا	bl tWxrwn alHya+ aldnya	But you prefer/choose the life the present/worldly life.	Indeed, you are preoccupied with this first life.	Day (behold), ye prefer the life of this world;

17. *	والاخرة خير وابقى	walaKr+ Kyr wabqi	And the end (other life is) better and more lasting (everlasting).	Even though the Hereafter is far better and everlasting.	But the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

18. *	ان هذا لفي الصحف الاولى	an hXa lfy alSHf alawli	That truly that (is) in (E) the written pages (Books/Scriptures) the first/beginning.	This is recorded in the earlier teachings.	And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),-

19. *	صحف ابراهيم وموسى	SHf abrahym wmwsi	Abraham's and Moses' written pages (Books/Scriptures).	The teachings of Abraham and Moses.	The Books of Abraham and Moses.
